Do You Have The GoFundMe Attitude In Your Business?

GoFundMeI would guess we all know what GoFundMe is and what it was intended to be used for. But, in today’s world of entitlement and I’m owed this or that people have used it for about anything and everything. One gal, used GoFundMe because she went broke buying lotto tickets! A Guy to afford Netflix, another gal a trip to Vegas, and I could keep going with this type of story.

So, you wonder what this may have to do with business correct. You see, the examples that are used all had one thing in common and that was poor decision making and a lack of effort to better themselves through their own strengths and abilities. Instead, they just went public pleading for a handout because that is easier than actually working hard for something they truly want.

As an entrepreneur you can either have the GoFundMe attitude looking for handouts or you can become successful through your own personal development and handwork making a business blueprint that will GoFundYou!

The GoFundMe attitude is one where you are drawn to the shiny object by illusions of getting rich quick, with minimal to no efforts, and then will live life rich and free forever! You see taking handouts hoping that any plan you have to excel in business will ultimately fail on you as you have no desire to actually work and build relationships with those supporting you! You most likely have no desire to invest in yourself, you will not spend money on education and events, and all of that will trickle down to your lack of authority to teach others.

When you take the attitude of the GoFundYou, you are taking actions to better your life through your own hard work and disciple and to be better than you were yesterday. You are striving to invest in yourself and others, you are looking to learn every day to further your mind and body to better yourself and business, and with that you are able to take all that and teach others! Everything you get in your life has been through your own hard work and that of your mentors that you took to learning from. You made you, you are able to GoFundYou!

The GoFundYou attitude is what sets successful entrepreneurs apart from just being another employee or GoFundMe excuse. When you mentally start each day with personal development and the attitude you will accomplish your goals, you are already many steps ahead of most of the population.

Being a successful entrepreneur you are always a student and will be on webinars, Facebook Live, Periscopes, Blabs, etc. You will be buying many training courses on your niche and marketing plan like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. and attending many events to learn and grown from industry experts in your niche. When you stop learning you stop earning.

You see the GoFundYou attitude will be a harder and most likely slower path. But it is one that will also have a  longterm residual effect on your life. Were as the GoFundMe attitude will most likely be a short lived event with continued heartache and missed opportunities. But, the GoFundMe attitude is not one that has to last forever either, giving the person is ready to change their mindset and action to become a successful entrepreneur.
